If you have any childhood memories of getting a cool toy from a McDonald's Happy Meal, then there's an opportunity to get a nostalgia fix coming to a drive-through near you.
In honor of the 40th anniversary of the first ever Happy Meal served at McDonald's, the fast food chain is going to be doing a limited run of throwback toys from the restaurant's history.
Between Nov. 7 and Nov. 11, McDonald's is re-releasing a lineup of several classic toys that had been included in Happy Meals in years past.
Here's a list of the toys coming to Pennsylvania:
"Since the Happy Meal was introduced on the menu, it quickly became synonymous with our brand," said Steve Easterbrook, McDonald's CEO, via a press release. "Today, this iconic red box creates delicious, lasting memories for billions of families annually across the world."
The first Happy Meals, known then as Circus Wagon Happy Meals, were served in 1979 in the United States.
McDonalds has recently earned a C grade from a report compiled on how chain restaurants source their beef in terms of antibiotic use. The majority of the top 25 chain restaurants received an F grade. Read more about it here:
